Click on the link to the left to see a full list. The money we raise will purchase office supplies for the school.

Thank you for supporting the recycling efforts at NCS!

Earth Day 2011

The Recycling Committee needs your help! We are collecting clean, used t-shirts to cut up and repurpose for the kids for Earth Day. We have collected 200, but still need 200 more. If you have some to send, please send them to your teachers letting them know what they are for.

We also need help on Earth Day, April 15th, to help with set-up, clean-up, and the day's activities. Please contact Sue Wilson at billsue92@live.com if you can help.

Please put Aluminum Cans in the large dumpster outside the gate. (The small container in the recycling area is just for the school.)

If you use juice pouches at home, please visit the recycling/fundraising page on our school website (neusecharterschool.weebly.com) or click on the Terracycle link on the left of this page to learn how to sign up to send them in directly.

The recycling area is still by the 4th grade area. Remember when you are at the school:

Please Feed the Robots!!

Elmers Glue Crew

Did you know that if you add all the glue sticks and bottles from the supply lists for this year, it would add up to be 1376 glue sticks and 80 glue bottles (based on last year's enrollment)?!!!

Collect empty glue sticks and bottles (they do not have to be Elmer's brand) from now until the end of the school year. The school will receive 2 cents from Terracycle for each item collected. Last year we collected 520 glue sticks and no bottles. Good work, but I know we can beat that this year!

If you use these items at home, please clean the empty bottles and send them to your child's classroom. The class that collects the most from each of the following groups will get an ice cream party!

  • K, 1st, and 2nd
  • 3rd, 4th, and 5th
  • 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th

The contest ends on Earth Day, but we will collect them through the end of the year.
